As a SCCM engineer, I usually buy any book related to SCCM. For roughly 200 pages, this book contains clear and concise information. I love the screen shots and the information is very useful on a daily basis. I recommend this book to any level of IT admin wishing to gain more knowledge on SCCM. About the Author

Brian Sparks is a 58 year-old PGA Golf Professional who has enjoyed much success helping golfers since giving his first lesson in 1967. This was on his second day at work as a 16 year-old assistant and he has given over 50,000 lessons in his career to date. He played the European and Safari Circuits in the early 1970s, has been a Club Pro, Teaching Pro and General Manager at clubs in UK and in France. He is also a qualified 'Performance Coach.' His wide experience, aligned to an open and questioning mind, has led him to a remarkably simple concept for playing the game. In an effort to change the way golfers learn and the way golf is taught, he founded 'Positive Impact Golf' in 2006.

He played the first year of his golf in peaceful ignorance of swing technique during which time he made rapid progress. After a year he became an Assistant Golf Pro and started to learn about the detail of developing a good technical swing. From being able to play without knowing how to do it after one year he went through this learning period only to come out of it 2 years later not knowing how to play anymore!  He goes on to tell how he took the false route of looking for technical solutions imagining that he had developed dramatic faults only to discover many years later that the better path would have been to return to a natural and thought-free way of playing the game.

When the student is ready the master appears!

Brian Sparks...Brian Sparks...Brian Sparks...I can not say it enough. I started Golf in 1994 and it was a Golfing disaster until 1998 and discovering Dalton "Straight Shootin' Golf" --- then to get "better" went searching for the Holy Grail secret of Golf with books, tapes, lessons, equipment, training devices. I only got worse and bogged down. I downloaded the Kindle addition today and read it until my phone went dead. With Brian's new thoughts in my head and "the Dance" I went to my range and swung a 7 iron without hitting any balls at first, then started hitting balls with a smooth rhythmic motion with the result being effortless and every shot STRAIGHT. I proceeded to go through my entire bag (only 9 clubs + putter) with the same results. I was amazed and grateful to say the least. Brian seemed like he was talking directly to me in his book and I started to realize how my conscious mind had taken over my Golf swing or as Brian would say "Self 1". I am learning to let Self 2 do the swing and play the great game of Golf.

Nice architecture patterns implementation, issues with Angular code

Interesting implementation of architecture patterns on the application.

Starting with chapter 4, had problems with basic angular code, controller specifically. Had to investigate and make changes to the code in order to make it to work:

Too many missing parts

The book starts as "step by step" manual.
There are a lot of screenshots with "dummy" things like how to create a project in Visual Studio, how to add a class, etc.
However (at least in the Kindle format) there are a lot of missing things, for example in Chapter 2 there is neither code nor explanation about some classes that the author uses as RepositoryProvider and RepositoryFactories. In Chapter 3 there is not explanation how to create the database.
You have to download the code of the book to search all the missing parts.
It's boring "copy & paste" code without explanation.

edge in technology :)

As a .Net developer I find this book very helpful in my day to day task at work and also gives me an edge on my colleagues. This book targets on the advance topics of MVC, AngularJS, WebApi, etc. But the best part is the altogether new tools like Jasmine, QUnit, Tostr, and how to use them efficiently.

I think Chris has not read the "Who should take this book" page and has made a vague comment; as this book doesn't target starters. Also, the main intent of the book is to build SPA and the author has explained the same with a variety of new technologies, which is awesome.

Inspiring Reading

"In order to trust God we must view our adverse circumstances through eyes of faith, not our senses," we're told in the first few pages of this wonderful book. Chuck Swindoll goes on to tell us how to do that. He describes people who reflect a quiet, peaceful calm as being those individuals who have cultivated a perfect trust in God. Such a mindset liberates one to be the distinctive person God intended.
Swindoll writes from a profoundly deep perspective. Only an author who has been tested himself could write the following:
"God has trusted each of us with our own set of unfair circumstances and unexplained experiences to deal with. Can we still trust in Him even if He never tell us why?"
He goes on to answer the question he posed by saying, "..it's good simply because God Himself has allowed it. Acceptance is resting in God's goodness."
Job of the Old Testament is used to illustrate complete acceptance of God's will. Job trusted God totally, although he did not understand what was occurring in his life.
Read the section on worry. He offers five problems associated with it that enable you to see its deceptive powers. He also helps you to overcome it. I strongly recommend this book. It will deepen your relationship with God if you read it with the proper mindset.

Perfect Trust is the Perfect Inspiration

This book is a favorite. I keep it in my nightstand and often read a chapter at night to encourage me and put things in perspective. Chapters are short and can be read in a few minutes, but contain wonderful Biblical truths that you will find yourself meditating on long after you close the cover.
I've read Perfect Trust through a dozen times and have given away many copies. It has helped me deal with all kinds of crisis. It is so comforting and would be a good gift for anyone going through a difficult time in their life. We all need to be reminded that God is loving, sovereign, and has our best interest in mind.

Hmmm... On the fence

This had such great plot points and would have been a great book, if it wasn't sooooo long. There was a lot of redundancy that did not add value to the book. I loved the beginning of the book, but at about 45% or so Mabel's character changed. She was an extreme introvert who did a complete 180 and was all of a sudden in command. She had no issues with people and even acted completely opposite when she met Ton. You would have thought she understood him and what he was doing, instead she got mad at him. Mabel cried all the time which was annoying. The sex scenes was good the first time, but after that it was rinse and repeat.

There was other things I questioned, like if there is such a thing as a replicator, why have chefs and seamstresses. There would be no need. If the computer can fly ships no problem, why have pilots. The last thing that really bothered me was how lovey dubey it was. Don't get me wrong I love instalove with mates, but when it happens in the beginning of a 340 page book there is nowhere to go with it. So it was "I love you more than life itself" for most of the book. Oh sorry one more thing, nothing was resolved. The issue that went with the whole book did not get resolved, nor did we go through the delivery of the baby.

The only other concern for other readers is that the sentences are not separated like other books. So it is very difficult to figure out who is talking. You will eventually get it, but it was difficult at first. So all together I gave the book a 3. I will continue the series.

Needs revision!

So far the book is great...but...but! The dialog is one big jumbled mess, paragraphs run on and on.
I realized immediately upon starting chapter one..uh oh, it's one of those the doesn't seperate the characters dialog into seperate paragraphs, or even sentences.
This does require a bit more paying attention as the story doesn't flow as well as it could.

Great Start

I really liked the world building and character development. There were some errors but nothing that seriously detracted from the story. There were a couple issues with how quickly the heroine figured out things that could have made sense had the characters explaining had been using more alien words since full language was explained to take a while because she did not have translator as a child (those scenes needed to be adjusted because she is too bright to be that slow being an experienced anthropologist). Overall very good and entertaining. I hope the next in the series will be released soon. I look forward to reading it to see how the series (and the author) grows. Excellent first book and thanks for the imagination tour.

It's designed to teach someone with no prior knowledge of the human aura, chakras, and energy field, how to master energy healing. A Complete Guide To Learning and Practicing Chios Energy Healing

I love this book because everything you need to know about Chios Energy Healing is in this book! Before when I was teaching a class, either I or the the students had to print all of this same information from the Chios website so they could study and reference during class. Now it's all in one place, how wonderful is that?!? Now anyone can learn Chios Energy Healing on their own with this book. But for those who prefer a classroom setting you can go to the ChiosHealing.com website to find a teacher in your area. I give this book 5 Stars because it is complete, everything you need to start practicing Chios at the most basic level, all the way up to advanced techniques is covered very thouroughly. You learn how to read auras, you learn how to use color, and shapes during the healing sessions. If you ever wanted to become an energy healer this is a great place to start. If you are a healer now, this book can offer some new tools to add to your toolbox, and maybe some new insight into the healing realm.
